Wastewater from factories in the industrial zone is collected through a separate pipeline system and transported to the centralized wastewater treatment plant. Here, the wastewater undergoes the following steps of treatment:
Preliminary treatment: Removal of coarse solid waste, debris, and large suspended solids. Biological treatment: Utilization of microorganisms to degrade organic matter in the wastewater. Physical-chemical treatment: Removal of hazardous substances, heavy metals, and other pollutants. Disinfection: Destruction of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.

The wastewater treatment system at Luong Dien – Ngoc Lien Industrial Zone employs advanced and modern treatment technology, ensuring high treatment efficiency and environmental friendliness. The wastewater treatment capacity reaches up to 5000m2 per day and night.
- Treatment Efficiency:
The treated wastewater meets the standards specified in QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT, ensuring environmental safety and suitability for reuse in other purposes such as irrigation for greenery or road cleaning.
