On February 10th, 2022, the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province issued a Decision to establish two Industrial Clusters: Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3, both located in Luong Dien commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.
According to the Decision document, Luong Dien 2 Industrial Cluster covers an area of 51.9 hectares, managed by Construction Joint Stock Company 1369:
- To the North, it borders the Bần-Vũ Xá canal
- To the South, it borders the land planned for the Dong Giao commercial residential area, Luong Dien commune
- To the East, it borders the existing residential area along National Highway 38
The People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province reviewed and discussed the project to plan the Two Industrial Clusters: Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3
In May 2023, the regular May session (first session) took place with the core content of implementing the Luong Dien Ngoc Lien Industrial Park planning regarding the Two Industrial Clusters. Specifically, the People’s Committee of Hai Duong Province underwent a process of review and discussion on the planning of the Two Industrial Clusters: Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3 in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.
At the meeting, Mr. Trieu The Hung said: “The two Industrial Clusters Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3 stand out with their location adjacent to the Luong Dien Ngoc Lien Industrial Park. Therefore, Cam Giang district may consider developing into an Industrial Park to concentrate on investing in modern infrastructure to attract domestic and international investors.”
In the economic and social development plan of Hai Duong, planning and developing infrastructure for the Two Industrial Clusters play an important role in attracting investment, creating jobs, and promoting sustainable economic development. Therefore, the planning of the Two Industrial Clusters Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3 in the area has attracted special attention from the business community and relevant authorities.
According to the decision, the two Industrial Clusters will attract industries and sectors including:
- Agricultural processing industry, food industry
- Traditional handicrafts, fine arts
- Mechanical engineering
- Production of consumer goods and support industries listed in the priority investment support product list of the Province and the Government
The planning and development of the Two Industrial Clusters Luong Dien 2 and Luong Dien 3 not only contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality but also open up opportunities for cooperation, investment, and sustainable development in the future. This promises to attract many large-scale businesses to invest and expand production here.
